1.Equipment debugging and preparation

the testing machine needs to be in good working condition, and all parts are firmly connected without looseness or abnormality. The calibration of key components such as force transducers, displacement transducers and counters should be checked to ensure their accuracy. Meanwhile, according to the testing requirements, prepare suitable spring ring clasp and clamps to ensure that the spring can be firmly fixed on the testing machine.

2.Spring Ring Clasp Installation

Fix the spring to be tested on the fixture of the testing machine , ensuring that the axis of the spring is consistent with the loading direction to avoid partial loading, and adjust the position of the spring, so that the spring will remain stable without shaking or shifting during the testing process.

3.Set the test parameters

Spring ring pre-pressure

Set the initial compression force, usually 10-20% of the rated working load of the spring.

Maximum Pressure

Set the maximum compression force of the spring according to the design requirements or standards of the spring ring

Pressing Frequency

Set the pressing frequency, such as 1~5Hz, to simulate the actual use of working conditions.

Cycle times: Set the total number of test times, such as 100,000 times, 500,000 times, etc.

4.Spring ring start test

Start the test machine so that it presses the spring cyclically according to the set parameters. During the spring ring test, pay close attention to the running status of the testing machine to ensure that no abnormalities occur.

5.Process monitoring and data recording

Real-time observation

Observe the changes of the spring during the testing process, including whether there is any abnormal noise, deformation or breakage.

Data Recording

Record data such as force and displacement on a regular basis and generate force-displacement curves for subsequent analysis.

Abnormal Records

Record any abnormalities during the test, such as the number of cycles and changes in force value when the spring breaks.

6. Test termination and result analysis

Spring ring termination conditions

stop the test when the preset number of cycles is reached or when the spring breaks.

Data analysis

Analyse the test data, calculate the force decay rate, stiffness change and other indicators to assess the elastic performance and life of the spring.

Judgement of results

Based on the test results, judge whether the spring ring meets the design requirements or standards, and make suggestions for improvement.
